HOLLYHILL JOKER'S WILD BB ID Bi R/W A favorite amongst the garden visitors. Each flower is a little different. Some are nearly solid red, with just a row of white. Others are white, edged in red. Tall grower. 6'    
HOLLYHILL SPIDERWOMAN NX DB PR/W This is an arranger's dream! However, disbudding is a MUST to get stems of any length. Lots of blooms. Tops in it's class - 53 blues or better in 2009. 4'

KARMA CHOC WL DR This is the darkest red you will see - very similar to Chocolate Cosmos or Aurora's Kiss. . In addition, the foliage is very, very dark and the stems are dark. I'm told some of the flowers smell like chocolate, but I haven't discovered that myself yet. I am offering LEGALLY grown plants obtained from licensed greenhouses. Bred for the cut flower industry with a vase life of about 9 days. 3'    
KARMA FIESTA BB FD FL New Karma variety for 2010. Bright orange with yellow base. Bred for the cut flower industry, it has a very long vase life. Not yet classified by ADS. At just 32", also makes a good border flower. 2-1/2'

KENORA CLYDE AA SC W This one was named after a Texas gent that gave the seed to Gordie. I'll bet he was a tall fellow, as this plant grows 6' plus. Great show flower. Introduced in 1988 at $25.00!! 6'    
KENORA DAZZLER M ID DB PR/W Beautiful little flowers literally cover the 4' bushes. Tops in it's class, and makes a great cut flower. 4'    
KENORA FIREFIGHTER B FD R Beautiful, bright red color. Many blooms -- good cut flower. Named to honor firefighters everywhere. 5'    
KENORA JUBILEE A SC W This is one of the easiest to grow, most dependable and loveliest flowers I grow. I believe it will become the standard in it's class. 5'   Sold out

KENORA MACOP B B LC DR Tall growing with incredibly dark red, laciniated blooms. Named for a chemotherapy medicine Gordie was taking at the time he hybridized it. 5'

KENORA PEPPERMINT BB FD Bi R/W One of the last that Gordie named before his passing. A lovely bright red with white tips. With slight notch on the tips, it makes a great cut flower and is an attention-getter in the garden. 5'    
KENORA SPIRIT B LC W My favorite white laciniated. Holds up well in the rain. Very full and frilly. 4'    
KENORA SUNSET B SC FL A gorgeous flame, but can be lots of variations between the colors.

KENORA WOW! B SC DB So aptly named -- because when you see the color, the first thing you say is WOW. Top winner in it's class, and a great cut flower. 5'    
KIDD'S CLIMAX A FD LB Y/PK This incredible flower has been around since 1940. It's even older than I am, and still winning strong. Most blues in it's class. This was the first large flower my Mother grew -- it can easily go to AA. 5'    
LADY DARLENE B ID DB R/Y A fantastic flower. Yellow with red center. Each petal is outlined in red. Simply gorgeous. 4-1/2'    

 

MALVERN MARTHA BB FD BR Unclassified as yet by ADS. Originated in 2001 from the UK. Will compete, good cut flower. 4'

MAYAN WARRIOR BB SC FL This is one of those hard-to-describe colors. Really kind of a smoky fuchsia with yellow center. Very similar to Tropica. Very, very floriferous, and a great cut flower. Comes from Ken Stock from the UK 4'    
MINGUS GREGORY A IC LB L/W Easy to grow this one to size. Good show flower 4'    
MINGUS IDA A LC W Beautiful ruffly pure-white blooms. 4'    
MINGUS NICOLE A ID LB PK/Y Incredible color. Late bloomer, but worth the wait. Good show flower. One of the few that will get deeper after being cut. 5'    
MINGUS TONI BB ID V PK/R Great cut and garden flower. Yellow in center. Each flower is a little different, making it possible to pick an interesting bouquet from one plant. Floriferous. 4'    
MISH MASH B LC DB This variegated was outstanding this year.  Likes the cooler summers. 4'    
MONET GLORY WL LB This is one of my favorites to use for a cut flower. It blends from a yellow to soft gold. New to the US, it is a 2006 introduction by Ken Stock of the UK. 4'

PAPA'S BENJI B LC OR Beautiful bright orange laciniated blooms. Holds up better in the heat than most laciniateds. 4' .  
PEACH DELIGHT B SC PK Lovely peach colored blooms with great form. Big winner in Southwest Washington & Oregon shows. 5'    
PEACHES-N-CREAM M FD LB OR/W Darling little flower of perfect form. The bush is covered with light orange petals have white tips that completely recurve to the stem. Nice cut flower and good show flower. 4-1/2'    
PEARSON'S BEN BB SC R Personally, I think this is the best red semi-cactus out there. Great stems, great color and wonderful show flower. Does well as cut, also. 4' .  
PENHILL DARK MONARCH AA ID DB Very interesting purple and yellow blooms 5' .  
PENHILL WATERMELON AA ID LB Easy to grow HUGE flower in light salmon pink. Consistently threw 12" plus flowers. 5'    
POOH CO BI RED/Y/Y The standard in it's class, easy to grow. 147 blues or better in 2009. 5'    
ROCK CREEK ROBERT F B IC R I am happy to be introducing this new variety from Bob Hanley of Woodburn, Oregon. Nice red incurved cactus, very floriferous. Scored in 3 trial gardens: 87.33 (E), 86.4 (S), 87.8 (M) 5'

RUSKIN ANDREA B SC LB PK/W I love this dahlia! Wonderful form and lots of blooms on super strong stems. Great show, cut and garden flower. 4-1/2'

SANDIA JOY WL Y Very early blooming and proliferous. Good show and cut and good for containers because of it's short height. Lovely lemon yellow. 2-1/2'    
SANDIA SERENITY WL Y This is a beautiful small soft yellow waterlily, with a slight pink blush. Best picked when young. 4'    
SANDIA SHOWMEI WL L Hard to find color in the waterlily catalog. This one is a beauty and does well on the show bench. 4'    
SCAUR SWINTON B FD DP Lovely shade of dark pink. Well formed blooms make this flower a "must have". 5'    
SEDUCTION BB FD L This is at the top of my list for cut flowers. It's strong stems make it a designer's dream. Beautiful lavender with a darker reverse. 5' .

SORBET B SC DB DR/W Introduced in 2004 by Geerlings. Beautiful form -- in cooler climates you will find more dark red than white. This picture was taken in a garden in the south Oregon coast where dahlias have magnificant color. In my garden it had a lot more white.      
SPARTACUS A ID DR An outstanding dahlia, both show and in the garden. Beautiful dark red, swirly petals. 5'    
SPIKE AA C W An oldie, but goodie (1967). Still the only one competing in it's class, and reported to be a good seed parent. 5'    
STALEEN CONDESA BB SC L A beautiful shade of light lavender. Many petals in this flower give it a very full appearance. Good show and cut. 4-1/2'    
STILLWATER BRILLIANT B SC DB PR/W Gorgeous blooms of purple and white. Very high petal count and floriferous. 5'    
SUGARTOWN SUNRISE BB FD LB L/Y This one grows more pink for me than lavender. Blooms on the smaller scale of BB. 5'    
SUMMIT FESTIVAL BB ID BI OR/W A great garden and cut flower. These lovely blooms are a soft orange with white tips. The unusual thing about this flower is the red wavy line separating the orange and white. Very good stems! 4-1/2'    
SUNSHINE PAUL B FD Y Lovely medium yellow flormal blooms with pink blush. 5'

TIMONA PASTEL A SC LB One of my favorites in the large dahlias. Very delicate blending of pale yellow centers to pink outside. Absolutely lovely. 4'    
TIOGA SEAHAWK B LC LB DP/Y Hard to find Tioga beauty. Lovely, deep laciniations. Blooms early and often. 4' .  
TRELYN RHIANNON B C DB Beautiful cactus blooms that blend with nearly every color. Dark red/purple, blending to yellow in center. One of my favorites. 5'    
TROPICA BB ID FL One of the most brilliant, beautiful flowers in my garden. I would actually describe the color as dark pink blending to orange. Truly does remind me of a tropical sunset.

UMPQUA MAGIC B LC FL This is an incredible color -- sure to draw the attention of visitors to your garden. Tops in it's class in the shows, also. 4'    
VASSIO MEGGOS A ID L Sport of Spartacus. New in 2005 from Steve Meggos. Lovely, wavy, large lavender flowers. Can go to AA with heavy disbudding. Good tuber maker. 4-1/2'    
VERNON ROSE BB FD V PK/R Great cut and garden flower, and can win at the shows. 4'    
VIBRANT GEE BB IC DP Bright pink incurved blooms with perfect form from Wayne Shantz. The lovely frilly foliage makes this an extremely attractive plant even before it blooms. 4'    
VISTA LINDSEY BB LC Y A lovely, frilly, favorite of mine from my friend Jean Heeringa. Good show flower. 4'    
  WALTER HARDISTY AA ID W Excellent stems and foliage support the huge 11" blooms. Still tops in it's class after all these years (1975). 4'

WESTON SPANISH DANCER M C FLAME Great cut and show flower. Portland Dahlia Society's flower of the year for 2009. 4-1/2'    
WINDHAVEN HIGHLIGHT B IC Y Brilliant yellow blooms on tall plants will really make this a "highlight" in your garden. Great stems make this a good cutflower, as it being the top competitor in it's class. 5'    
WINKIE COLONEL AA ID R Huge blooms of bright red. Definitely benefits from shading. 4'    
WOODLAND'S WILDTHING B SC OR This one is actually more ID than SC. Great color, which intensifies with shade. 95 blues or better in 2008. 4'    
WOODLAND'S MERINDA ST PR Beautiful purple stellar from Bill Mishler. This one makes a great cut flower as well as show. Best in it's class with 24 blues or better in 2008. 4'    
WORTON BLUE STREAK BB SC L Good show and cut. When I look at this flower, I get a "cool" feeling. A lovely blue shade of lavender. 4'    
WYN'S CONQUISTADOR AA ID Y HUGE!!! blooms of yellow. If I want to attract attention when I am at a farmer's market, I just put one of these on the table. People can't believe it is real. 5'+    
WYN'S FARMER JOHN AA ID LB W/Y/L Great show flower and one of my favorites. Beautiful pale yellow, with a blush of pink. 5'    
WYN'S SAFARI SUNSET AA SC OR        
ZAPF'S DESERT STORM B SC DR Top winner in it's class, and it makes a great cut flower. A little smaller and darker version of Kenora Wildfire 5'    
  ZORRO AA ID DR Not enough can be said of this classic. Top in it's class since 1987. Derrill Hart and Stanley Johnson award winners. 5'    

 

We are licensed and inspected by Washington State Department of Agriculture. All tubers are guaranteed to be true to name, disease free and have at least one live eye. If you have a problem, you must contact us by AUGUST 1ST, 2010. A replacement tuber will be sent the following year. After that time, no replacement will be made. We are not responsible for weather, pests or insect problems.
